Hi. I had 4 stents inserted in Feb 2019 just a day after booking flights to Australia. On checking insurance companies and costs the price was £609? As we are not going until late this year I waited until this month and tried again. All Clear insurance, was recommended. They were fantastic. You can do it on line, then before clicking accept, phone them they go through the form with you and you get 20% of the price ( the on line form carries a code for the 20% off) quote it.

So In short the combined insurance for myself and my wife for the trip ( which includes everything plus cancellation) was £261.00. Be sure to be honest with all ailments. Hope this helps

Great to hear this about AllClear as I have vascular disease and angina. Thinking of a visit to family in Australia if can get insured ok. ( I recently had quotes for USA ranging £400-£1100 just for me!! Needless to say we stuck to Europe this year., but might do Australia next year .

I don’t know whether you have to be over 50 to get it but my husband got travel insurance 4 weeks after 4 stents through SAGA for £80.
