Returned home this evening to St Albans and feeling positive after triple bypass performed on Tuesday morning followed by the routine Recovery, HDU and general ward phases. I count myself lucky. My surgeon said the procedure was so simple it was boring. I say all this but in no way mean to belittle the challenge of undergoing a procedure of this kind. We win a battle going through it but it’s one that’s definitely winnable. For those of you still waiting for your procedure I think the best approach is to try to get as much fitness into yourself as possible and get plenty of rest.

As always, good health to all.

It’s very good to hear how smoothly it all went for you. Very encouraging for people just starting off on the same journey.

Delighted to hear it was a successful and routine operation.

Best wishes for a continued, quick recovery!

Wishing you a speedy uneventful recovery.

Enjoy being back in your own bed without the noise of a busy hospital ward.
