Home or hospital - which?

I just want to say a big thank you to all who supported me and gave me sound advice in looking after my husband. Sadly he passed away this morning at home in his own bed. He was calm and pain free. It's been quite a journey but I know it was the right thing to care for him at home. Towards the end I had so much support from different agencies exactly when I needed it. Now I need to concentrate on my own heart and rebuild my life.

I'm so glad you were able to look after your husband at home.

I hope that in time you will be able to take comfort from knowing the amazing care & love you gave to your husband couldn't have been bettered.

Please now do look after yourself, stay with this group and if/when you need support we are all here to listen.

You have been amazing giving the very best of your love to your husband. A wonderful selfless gift of love and caring on your part.

Please now take care of yourself too.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. Now is time to make sure you are getting plenty of rest, eating healthily and taking good care of you. The stress and strain of what you have been thru is huge so learn to accept help from others, say no when you need to, turn your phone off and rest.

I’m so sorry for your loss Love100cats.
