Hi just got home so happy, after getting my test results my cardiologist has decided I don't need to go on the transplant list at the moment, he will keep it under review , I have to go back and see him in a couple of weeks to discuss the meds, he is going to go ahead with the defibrillator implant and my clinic appointment for that is the 4th October, safety first I suppose, but a bit better than I could have hoped for, thanks to everyone for reading my posts and all your supporting comments ta again chaz xx

So glad it all went well. I know how terrifying the thought of a heart transplant is. When I saw the cardiologist he said it might be in my future. Scared the life out of both me and my husband. I had the ICD fitted last year so if you have any questionss fire away. Glad you are home hopefully you ca relax a bit now.

Fantastic news, you must be relieved. I have a defibrillator fitted too (mine is a CRT-D) so feel free to pick my brain once you've had time to digest the news.
