Keloid Scarring

I'm new here and crave a solution!

Has anyone experienced very sensitive and at times painful keloid scarring following heart surgery? I've been to a pain clinic, endured multiple steroid injections by a dermatologist, tried Kelo-Cote on the advice of a plastic surgeon and now the heart surgeons are considering I'm allergic to the nickel and possibly excising the wiring used to close my sternum.
