Just a quick update, I am currently in Ireland visiting my daughter which is great now I have travel insurance. My rehab has been put on hold halfway through due to the nurses and physiotherapist being unwell. I am hoping to return to it when I return from Ireland, but I must say the 5 weeks I had of rehab made me feel so much better. I couldn’t do more than a minute of each exercise as I am so unfit but they are working on it. It’s great to be with people that are in the same boat and understand your anxieties. I will update again when my rehab starts again.

Do keep up the walking and some form of gentle exercise while you are away as it is easy to lose fitness. After completing rehab I needed unrelated surgery and subsequently developed an infection. I was staggered how much I lost in around six weeks!
Hi Michael, I have been doing a fair bit of walking here in Ireland and loved every minute of it. The weather has been gorgeous most of the time and it has been a real tonic to visit my daughter. I am hoping my rehab will start again fairly soon but in the meantime I shall do my home work with the exercise sheet I was given.
can you get a BHF Exercise DVD where you are ? We use one tweice per week between the group cardio rehab sessions and find them very goosd and useful.
