Hi, I am a 54 year old female, and I had a mild heart attack last November and although no surgical procedure I am on the usual tablets for life. Although, a shock for me and my family I am now back, more or less to where I was, except I am trying my best to do more exercise and eat more healthily. However, for the past few days I have felt a gentle intermittent 'ache' around my heart area, I notice it is more when I am resting as I think when I am walking etc it is too mild to notice. I definitely feel an improvement when I take my morning tablets, aspirin, clopidogrel and bisoprolol. If it continues of course I will make an appointment with the GP, but just wondered meantime, if anyone had experienced this or would have an idea what it might be?

This sounds really silly but try checking your underwear - underwires/too tight bands can cause dull chest ache feeling: heard that from cardiac nurse.
Have you been prescribed a GTN Spray you can use if necessary. I would suggest make an appointment to see your GP as meds may need revising and/or you may need referral back to Cardiology. Of course it could be nothing but better to ask than to leave and be too late.
