Hello there. Yes I know what you mean. Wanted to do some walking this evening but was so tired and felt really cold. Have you had any stents put in?

Blimey I'm frightened now.... Do not have diabetes or high blood pressure and working on chlosterol. Chlosterol was 5.9 now 4.9. Reduced in 10wks. Began with just a tiny chest pain. Since Andiogram not been well at all. I'm wondering I'd andiogram has done something inside my arteries. They did find a 70% blockage but on report said it wasn't blood flow limiting??

Do use your GTN Spray everyday?

I had them everyday but I worked up until the operation , I couldn't work after I ate , apparently the stomach wants blood after eating so the heart works a bit harder , I guess that plus gardening was too much :)

It always went after 10 mins max , sometime I would take a Rennie or ranitidine because I thought it was indegestion :)

Hi. So can you not work now due to your angina?

Hiya

I worked with my Angina , for a year but then I had a triple bypass and now I don't have it anymore :)

Angina was disarupting but I could manage it enough to set up a gardening round , it was just a case of recognising when to stop and relax and don't lift anything heavy or pull things that resist like rotavator and such .

Hi. Angina seems to of come on very suddenly. Had andiogram back in October. Shown I had 70% plaque but not blood flow limiting?? Fine for two months. After Christmas noticed it coming on a lot more especially when I've eaten. Can I ask how old you are. I'm only 53

I was getting a mild attack between (3 am and 5am). However increased dosage of Isosorbide Mononitrate and they are now much rarer and the GTN spray always works. Stented in Nov I’m working my way back to former fitness levels (slowly and carefully) and the gaps are getting longer and the attacks milder.

Yes my hubbys were increased 30 in morning and 30 lunchtime. Seems to have less problems since.

Thankyou. Cardiologist discharged me now waiting to go back for tests. Hopefully I'll be ok. It's such a worry. Lost 22 pounds and now on a mainly plant based diet. My wake up call. Your health is e everything.

Hi Red 18, try not to worry. Stress won’t help. My hubby stopped smoking after 54 years, but diet wise he only has decaf tea, no coffee but food wise eats same as before,

He has had one stress test on treadmill and is due to go for myo View test soon. It’s the extra tablets he takes at lunchtime that seems to have helped.

I am trying to be positive as I see as another chance to correct my bad habits. 5hankyou so much for replying

Just read Clerkenwellers post, yes it’s the isosorbide tablets that were increased, now on 30 in morning and 30 lunchtime.

Ok. Thankyou. Has he had any stents?

Yes one, they said he needs another but couldn’t do it because he needed to have his kidney taken out eight weeks ago which was cancerous. He is now going to have his heart checked but they said they might just manage it on tablets and not give him another stent I suppose the Myoview scan test will decide.

See my response to person with atherosclerosis - same logic applies . Both angina and atherosclerosis are inflammatory conditions resulting from eating too much animal protein, salt, sugar and fat in meats, dairy, convenience or junk food. If you are seroius about wanting to stop the angina attacks follow up the references in the post I wrote, and they will go within days. Angina pain is a very serious wake up call to you from your heart and immune system about your lifestyle , primarily diet.

Its reduced my breathlessness by 99.9%. That's only because I wont put 100% in case something happens.

Same here, excersise helps, I do lengths in the pool but when I’m resting or even trying to fall asleep then the pain is worse. Also have pain after eating
