I have just spent 8 days in my local hospital. Was told I was to ill to do any thing. Spent 19 hrs in a+e waiting for a bed. Once I finally got a bed on a ward was on a heart monitor all the time . Went for a echo scan where I was told part of my heart muscle was dead and not pumping blood properly. I already new this from when I had my HA and stent fitted 6 weeks ago. Have been out of hospital with all the same meds that I was taking with 1 new med to take called nicorandil 10 mg that I take twice a day I feel like rubbish no energy light headed out off breath. Blood pressure is good heart rate is good .

Still feel knackered
Hi Les... perhaps it could be the meds settling in and your body reacting to the new regime of medication. Have you read what side effects this new med may cause? However, you know you better than anyone else and if you feel unhappy with the symptoms speak with Cardiac nurse/GP to get it checked out.
When I was discharged from hospital the doctor said to me and my wife. The clot that I came in with had gone . We said what clot he did no explain any thing 2 us was more untreated in telling the nurse we can go and come back later to pick the meds up. He then walked of the ward. All we won't is some strait answers. Not be still in limbo and here are some more tablets to take. And they wonder why I have lost all faith in this hospital.
Have you been referred to the Cardiac Rehab team in your area? If not speak with your GP and they should be able to assist with either putting you in contact with them or answering your questions.
Yes but told can not do any of the activities can only go to meet people as my heart is not strong enough to do any thing.
Ok ... if you have been referred to Cardiac Rehab have you got a Cardiac Rehab Nurse ? If not speak to someone at the physio who should be able to assist in putting you in touch with the Nurse who will have access to all your hospital records and can provide the join up that you are missing.
