I'm 5 weeks into recovering from acute cardiac arrest and surgery to fit a stent. I have also had complications such as pneumonia and blood clots on my lung. Does/did everyone else have bad days where they felt constantly tired some days and that the pain they were getting in their chest area was undecipherable between broken ribs getting better, muscular pain and potential heart pain?

My husband had a cardiac arrest in July 2017 was resuscitated twice Road side, coma for a week, pneumonia etc. And yes it is normal to fall asleep at the drop of a hat, yes the pain from the healing ribs, stents, pneumonia is normal. Obviously, if you are really worried that something doesn’t feel right phone the GP or 111.
Thanks for your reply, think I may be over thinking things being so early into recovery but I will talk to my consultant this Friday during my 1st cardiac rehab review. I'm thinking part of the problem may be the ramipril giving me this constant dry cough that is starting to hurt my chest so i will also ask about that.
I hope your husband is well on the way to a full recovery.👍🏼👍🏼
