Merry Christmas everyone

I’d like to wish each and everyone of you a merry Christmas. 2018 hasn’t been the best year for me, loosing my mum in March and having a heart attack in October , to which I’m so lucky to be here. Then my son says to me ... mum you should have just wrapped yourself in Christmas paper as your the best gift we are getting this year 😢. With this I’m very grateful to each and everyone of you who has helped me with your positive advice. I’d like to finish this with a silly photo off me looking fab😂😂 my first Christmas Eve present from my family 😂😂 merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎅🏼🎁

Bless you. I lost my Mum in June and had HA in July. I didn’t think at any point I would die but I am now scared so much for my future and I constantly live in pain thinking about my Heart. Have been given all clear by cardiologist but I’m still scared. I have a stent in place but live everyday thinking it is my last. The anxiety and depression are so bad I sometimes just want to go to bed. Do you think this is normal. X

Hi there craftyhare, yes this is normal. I was exactly the same as you , always worried I wouldn’t wake up or I’d have an heart attack again. Then 2 1/2 months after my HA I decided Iv been given another chance and I have live my life to the fullest.some days are still hard but I actually feel better. Since I decided to be more positive I hardly have any pain. I love doing my walking as it clears my mind. Try to stay positive and do something that you used to like doing. Listening to your favourite music, dance etc. I wish you all the best xx
