Just wanted to say "thank you " to everyone for replying. I will be going back to the doctors to see if they can suggest anything. I don't really want to bump anyone down the list, as they've probably been waiting forever as well.

I am in South Wales and the information was given to me, by the consultant at the end of my appointment with them. She seemed frustrated at the waiting times herself. I can't have an invasive angiogram due to my issues with anaesthetic. On that note, I'm not sure what they will be able to do, if I do need an op anyway. Hey ho.
