Can anyone help new I had 5 cardiac arrests in October and I am not sleeping very well I am up and down every hour or two going to the loo as I am on water tablets as well as over meds and I was wondering if it is normal to get niggly aches and pains in chest not all the time and how bad should it be before you phone ambulance.

You should discuss it with your doctor and/or call the BHF Heart Helpline on 0300 330 3311 and talk to a cardiac nurse about it.

Did you have stents? These can sometimes take a while to settle in.

You need to go see your doctor if you have issues. Don't wait till March.

And ring up about the echo scan appointment to push them to hurry up. You could also phone teh consultant's secretary to see if they can hurry up your appointment. YOu have to be proactive these days.

I would ring your Cardiologist’s secretary and explain your concerns. I’m sure she can help and she can speak with your Cardiologist on your behalf and they may expedite your appointment . At least you will have a contact.
