Side effects of bisoprolol
Hi! How are things - it is a while since you last posted.
The most common side effect of Bisoprolol is tiredness as you adapt to a lower heart rate. There are a host of others documented in the insert with your tablets. Most are uncommon and many people have none bar the tiredness.
Bisoprolol can also cause cold fingers and feet similar to mild Raynauds, in addition may have an effect on Erectile Function. Don't know if this helps. As Michael says always best to read the leaflet or if worried talk to a pharmacist, who are normally very helpful.
Good luck in your recovery

I came off Bisoprolol and now take Propranolol, and I feel much better in myself with less fatigue, still not as before but better, worth trying different meds to see what suits you as I did.
Thanks to all for your replies. The most common side effect I suffer from is tiredness. This in it self is very debilitating and stops me from doing a lot of things that I enjoy.
How long have you been on it? I couldnt manage it the first timeround. Only lasted a week! Recently I was asked to try it again. At first, it made me enormously tired and cold and low. Soooooo, pleased I persisted. I’ve been on it now over two months and they even increased it. Now, though the Drs think my HR is a bit low (at 58ish) I’m having much less angina, with a lower level of pain. I’m doing much more. More regular exercise, much less tired and I feel much more confident about making plans and sticking to them.Worked for me!
The main ones I had were: fatique, sleep disturbance, very loose stools, itching, slow HR, weakness. I am off them now and all these have gone. Phew!
One of the more bizarre side effects for me is "suppression of urination". I take Bisoporol in the morning and can go all day without needing to pee. At night however I make up for it and may need to pee every 2 hours or so!
Can weight gain be a side effect? I’ve gained 14lb since diagnosis’s in Feb and it won’t shift 😩
