Hi all, I am supposed to walk 30 minutes a day. 10 mins slow 10 mins fast then 10 mins. Due to the awful weather I’m unable to get out. Has anyone any ideas to what I can do indoors? X

Same problem here, lousy weather for anything outside.
My solution was to buy a cheap indoor exercise bicycle, loads of them on Amazon and good prices.
Also what I like is that the exercise bicycle is easier on my knees than walking on hard pavements.

Depending on how far along recovery you are, if you have stairs walk up and down them X you can vary your pace.
Just walk around the house, going from room to room X
Hi lynn glad to hear your recovering well. I had my HA in February when the beast from the east was on our shores. I was in the same position couldn’t get outside. I was lucky enough to have friends who took me to shopping malls. You can walk about nice and warm and have a coffee whilst feeling a part of the outside world which was a big deal for me. I find when I’m stuck indoors depression tears it’s ugly head as you feel life is going on without you. If you can’t get out to malls just walk around the house and do a bit of dusting etc on way round. Using stairs is also good if you have any. If all else fails as Kwenda says try get bike or treadmill for the house. I did this also but found the boredom of it terrible. I think I need to be out and about. Hope Iv given you some options. Good luck❤️shiona
Try Shibashi. It is very gentle and slow but gives you as much of a workout as Zumba (as seen on Trust Me I'm A Doctor).
The British Heart Foundation (the sponsors of this web site) have an excellent video showing a ten minute workout that you can work along to and do in front of your computer. Just search their web site and you'll find it.
Another option is to go to a big, under-cover shopping centre and get your walking done there.
