Keeping an eye on your other conditions and meds

I have been having some stomach / bowel problems and suffer from diverticulitis and FODMAP disorders. Symptoms had gradually worsened and raised it with my doctor when I recently went in for my heart med scripts. Apparently the side effects of the medication I was taking for over active bladder (more annoying than my heart disease in terms of day to day disruption!) can worsen as you age and stomach/bowel is one of the affected areas. Went off this med under Dr supervision a couple of weeks ago and feeling much better. Pays to keep an eye on everything, not just the heart.

many times with multiple conditions it is sometimes hard knowing what condition is causing the symptoms.

i have mild heart condition but am also a fellow sufferer of diverticulitis affecting my sigmoid colon.

often the heart condition was mistaken for abdomen problems and the divert was mistaken for uti as i have a catheter in (shows how easy it happens)

knowing what what is the difficult part.
