I'm new here. Concern is re. statins. Husband has been taking two types of statin for some time. I am convinced they are affecting his short term memory (of course he denies this!). Have attempted to gather info. from peer reviewed articles on internet but not enough research appears to have been done. Can anyone offer advice on this?

Hi, anecdotal evidence would agree with you, I certainly suffer the same
It’s always risky to look at just one thing and blame that. Memory declines with age, after bypass surgery (‘pump-head’), stress, some other chronic illnesses and so on. I’d talk to a GP about it and they can assess if there is any short term memory loss of concern and if so what might be causing it. Cheers, Al
