Hi Shoshov! I have no personal experience but know that the Reveal LINQ is a 24 X 7 heart monitoring device. It is hoped, I imagine, that this will going forward explain your passing out episodes!

Yeah. Hope it's better than holter. It's a lottery with them if they're lucky enough to catch anything. I'm coming to terms a bit more now. Was a bit shell shocked earlier even though I was expecting it. We're a shower aren't we

Hi

I had a Reveal device last month having suffered blackouts. The procedure, under a local anaesthetic, a 1cm incision, was painless. The device sent my heart data once daily via a transmitter at the side of my bed. Doctors diagnosed pauses in my heartbeat from the Reveal data. I was immediately admitted to hospital. Last week, I was fitted with a pacemaker and the Reveal device was removed, having done its job successfully.

Best wishes to you.

I had one fitted few months ago - brilliant idea as it continuously monitors the heart 24x7. The procedure as already explained is quite straightforward. (It can stay in for up to 3years) you have peace of mind that it will pick up any problems. I had a review last week with cardiologist and he was able to bring up data from last 2months on screen in front of him

I had one after 5 years of collapsing and being told there was nothing wrong with me. The reveal device saved my life, after having it for 3 months I collapsed again and the reveal showed I had sinus node arrest and my heart had paused for 30 seconds. 11 years on and on my second PM now :) hope yours shows what’s wrong too x
