Hi everyone, It was three weeks today I took my heart attack and I'm so pleased as I have just had a mile walk around roukenglen park, it's nice to get out and about, I'm certainly going to do more walking in the future. 😊

Feeling good
That’s great to hear. Keep it up. But also remember to rest as well. Zena x
Well done you. Is that with permission of your cardiac rehab nurse? Mine was almost 4 weeks ago and I get breathless just walking round the garden or upstairs but I do still have two more arteries blocked up to 75%. I'd love some advice from a gp but mine are unapproachable.
Well done I bet you feel really chuffed. Your doing well.
Yes I'm following my chart the nurse gave me when I left hospital, will you not get more stents if you have blockages ? I was 90% blocked but think other arteries ok, I did ask after I got my angioplasty if there was more blockages and Dr said there will be narrowing of some more arteries but stent wouldn't be any good as their are small arteries, that's why taking blood thinners for 6 months will help .
I had 2 stents fitted as one artery was 100% blocked. The other two main ones are 75% and 65% blocked. That could be what's causing problems. I need a pressure angiogram to check how good or bad the blood flow is. i'm also on anti platelet meds and aspirin but the rehab nurse hasn't planned any exercise for me. I do have spinal problems and use a mobility scooter but could exercise for limited periods. Just got really breathless just going upstairs; checked BP thinking it would be raised and found it was 90/47. Perhaps my meds need checking. I just discovered the GP got the dose and time of day completely wrong on my repeat script for one of them. Good job I checked against my discharge letter.
Well done for checking your mess. Hope you can get about a bit easier soon
Thanks. If I could do as well as you I'd be delighted . I hope you carry on doing so well. Yes, it does pay to check and double check on tablets. For some reason the chemist put everything out into plastic compartments and I could see there were 5 tablets for every night rather than just 2. I may not have read the packet labels if he hadn't done that. Don't know if it's the chemist's fault or the GP's.
