I am 75 years old, have always been fairly fit and had a good diet. A few months a go I learned that I had a calcium score of 1800 or so. I have now had a cabg. I have read many articles and watched several videos that declare that Vitamin K 2 can reduce calcium scores. What is the BHF view of this ? Are the existing reports and studies wrong ? I have failed to find any BHF research that offers any opinions on this at all. Can anyone tell me where I should be looking for authoritative answers ? Or do I just resign myself to a very small number of years to come ?
