7 Day Heart monitor results

I had a 7 day heart monitor on June 13th 2018. And was told I would see the cardiologist afterwards. (Nstemi May 2018)

I haven’t heard anything as yet.

I have contacted my GP to see if they have the results . Is it usual to wait so long for results? I’m assuming the monitor didn’t show anything major or the hospital would have contacted me?

Two to four weeks often seems the norm these days if they are not unduly concerned. I would suggest ring the cardiology secretary to chase up.

Hello, I too am doing the waiting game. Advice I received here was to ring the consultants secretary, which I was glad I did as no appointment was showing in the system. Still waiting, so will keep ringing.
