Shoulder pain

Hello I had a triple bypass 4 years ago, recently I have been having angina attack’s,often at rest, I had a ecg and had to spend a night in hospital, they have referred me for a angiogram to check out what is happening, theses last few days I have been getting a lot of shoulder pain , and sometimes finding it hard to lift my arms up, anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I suffered from this in the run up to bypass with a few people saying it must be related to your heart. It turned out to be a trapped nerve.

It is easy for us Hearties to look to our hearts and medication first but having heart disease does not preclude other conditions.

Make an appointment with your GP to check it out. If you get really severe pain and/or breathlessness then go to A&E.
