Hi all

I’ve been having palpitations and GP sent me for ECG which can back all clear as heart didn’t flutter. I’m now awaiting my 72 hour recorder and the appointment is for 6 weeks. Trouble is that in 4 weeks I’m off to America with my family and I phoned specialist insurance (All Clear) who said they won’t cover undiagnosed condition. Tried calling the clinic for cancellation but nothing.

Has anyone come across an insurance company that will help me? I’m not bothered about the cancellation side of it I’m only worried that if something goes wrong in the US we won’t be able to pay.

Unfortunately, I think you will find most insurance companies will give you the same response . I suggest you search out a specialist insurance broker and see if they can find a policy - but be prepared to dig deep.
