Hi my husband has been diagnosed with non ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy and has had a biventricular pacemaker fitted in March, he is not feeling as well as he expected and seems to be struggling with Bisoprolol in that his breathlessness is back and fatigue, nurse says it can make you feel worse for a while but to persevere with it anyone else had similar experience . I’m new to this site so sorry if it’s too long.
Thank you

I started on Bisoprolol early this new year. I frequently feel unwell and fatigued. My sense of balance is also very iffy. Hope this helps. I have had my dose reduced because my heart rate went too low. Trying to get off them altogether with diet and exercise.
So am I but I don't worry about it. Worrying never helped anything. I think the statin I am on gives me worse side effects. I am hoping to get off that too.
I couldn't get used to it. My Cardiac team has taken me off it .So I binned what I had left. They told me it was to slow my heart rate down but as my heart had nevery showed raised pulse it wasn't needed ?? So why put me through hell then?
