...oh believe me it was SO cold....but just so incredibly beautiful. I could see them from the warmth of my log fire heated lounge as I drew back the curtains to a crispy lawn and sparkling edges to leaves and plants, and just had to capture not just the delicate lace of the spiders work, but the frosty highlighting adornment....if only we could capture with an ordinary camera the true patterns of the frost..!

Only kidding, I have similar photos from a couple of years ago. The spider's work is so intricately skilled & stunning. I find it so fascinating.

....do you know...I actually wondered after posting this photograph, whether it may be perceived as a made item! It looks so like string in the photograph - the camera just didnt do the addition of the frost's finishing touches justice.

It isnt clear enough here but this particular web is actually 2 webs - one coming out vertically from the other....

....as you can no doubt tell, i am in awe of the beauty around us...!

Yes I hope I have still got tyem in my gallery as I tried to move my photos for space a few months ago. I'll try digging them out 😊
