Newbie still undiagnosed

Hi everyone,

Not sure what to write on this my first ever social media post at the young age of 55, but feel like this is a worthwhile site to start on.

I am going through the process of being monitored for atrial eptopics and slight tachycardia at my local hospital. I am still confused by the whole process and still coming to terms with what might be happening to me, as when I speak to the specialist it seems to go in one ear and out the other.

Hope I can learn from this site and get support and pass on anything I can to other subscribers in time.

I am looking forward to getting back into a some kind of training programme once I know how to manage my symptoms better and my recent knee surgery has healed.

I consider myself as being quite relaxed, although anxiety can get the better of me sometimes, but with twin teenage daughters I’m not sure which can be worst?

Looking forward to living life to the full, and my next goal is to do a sky dive for BHF early next year. Keep you posted, thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forum Ted. I often tell people to write questions down for when they see their cardiologists, for you I'd suggest writing down the answers!

Walking, cheap to do lots of sights to see, take a camera, download maps.me on your phone and off you go. We have a fitbit group on here too

Braver man than me for the skydive good luck with that

Mark

Hi Ted62A , great to have you here! I always find writing something down (or typing) really helps so I hope you find this forum a useful place to come if things ever get overwhelming.

Look forward to seeing how you get on with your skydive - we really appreciate you going the extra mile for the BHF so thank you for that!

Take care.
