Got my op date!

Got a phone call at work today from the hospital, she wanted to know if I wanted to have my op next Monday! I said no I need to get vex work more notice, plus I didn't want it done before my birthday later this month, so I am now booked in on 3rd October. Madly doing research on warfarin and diet now!

Maybe you could swAp yours for mine as I have a two and a half month wait for my op. Mine may mess up Xmas. P

Sorry to hear that Phil. I was surprised to get mine so soon, especially as there's no urgency. Have you told them you can take a cancellation? I'm having my op at Glenfields in Leicester again. They were excellent last time.

I'm waiting for a triple bypass at St Thomas's in London. I told them I'd take a cancellation. It's my first.
