I thought I'd let you know how I am getting on. After many many months of waiting I've finally got my op date. I go into hospital on 1st May for AVR on 2nd May.

Hi Carion, if you look along the bottom of your post (where it says Reply, Report and More) you'll notice a little downward point arrow beside the More. If you click on this it gives you options to Edit, Delete etc. You can then edit your comment and re-post it. I didn't actually know you shouldn't mentions names or hospitals either! Hope that helps. I love to dance in the kitchen with my children and a firm favourite is shake it off by Taylor Swift - unfortunately I can’t make it through the whole song and most days even halfway is a struggle but I still try for them 😁

Dancing is a wonderful medicine 🥰

I hope enjoy lots of dancing and long walks when you’re recovered

I've spent many a-time dancing to songs in the kitchen while cooking, and with my daughters. I also do ballroom and Latin American dancing. Our dog died 4 yrs ago, just as my energy was beginning to wane. I'm hoping to get another when I'm better able to walk. I also love doing photography - walking for miles with my camera. Then there's swimming and I'd like to get back to my acting. I was a murder mystery actress. I'm retired now and don't know how I found time or the energy for it all when I worked. Life was a circus at times, juggling dancing, working, acting, swimming, days out. Now I can't walk more than 30 yards before needing to sit down. This operation is hopefully going to make life worthwhile again.
