Hi just want to know how long the side affects last for after you finish the course of tablets

Hi Joanie1964, Are you taking pred for your Psoriasis or something else? For me personally I had flares after taking pred but this is me and we all respond differently.

i have psoriatic arthritis and i had a bad flare up in my hand i was on 20mg for 7 days then 15mg for 7 days, then 10mg and now i'm on the last dose of 5mg i just want to now if the side affects continue when i finish in 2 days

I have psoriatic arthritis too I’m on Cosentyx injections... what side effects are you having? Yes they should start to subside over the next couple of weeks

Blurred vision, headaches,stomach pain sometimes it quite bad. I am on the same injection as you I’m on 300ml I have to have 2 injections a month on the same day

I take 2 injections per month as well. Have you injected around or near the time you started the pred? I have been on pred for years and never experienced any of what you described although we all react differently.

I’m thyroid-less and I can not take my injections anywhere near the time I take my thyroid meds, I swear it interacts with each other but, Rheumy will always say no.

No I started them 10 days later it may just be me I do tend to get some side affects from most of the medication I take I get mouth ulcers with the injections and bumps on my feet of all places and things to get thank you for your time

It's strange I get one small knot like bump on my calf after I do injections. If I were you I would keep up or start having your thyroid levels tested these PSA injections seem to like the thyroid.
