Have you tried eliminating ALL Dairy products? For many people this is the cause of their skin issue, especially if you also are experiencing trouble sleeping due to non stop thinking, anxiety, and joint pain (Rheumatoid arthritis).

Follow the Rheumatoid diet for 3 weeks and see.

To be honest I've pretty much done the opposite ... I've started eating full-fat dairy products, grass-fed organic ones as far as I can afford to and both my psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis are well controlled.  I feel decidedly healthy on the whole.  My husband has done the same and his cholesterol has actually come down.  We don't eat too much of such stuff though, our diet is mainly vegetable-based with lots of pulses, regular oily fish and occasional meat.

Sleep was a huge issue for me before my PsA diagnosis but has been much better since getting effective treatment.  I imagine that some folks should avoid dairy ... but I can't see any reason for cutting it out without good reason, it contains some seriously beneficial nutrients.

It's great to hear you've got it under control!

I haven't heard of any health benefits of drinking milk, our milk here is pasteurized so it's basically white water with group up sea shells for added calcium.

Is your milk raw or pasteurized?

I seem fine with dairy too. I haven't eaten meat for almost 30 years, and have been fish and dairy-free for a lot of that time too, but now eat fish occasionally and cheese/butter/yoghurt whenever I fancy it :) Which isn't every day, but is several times a week. I eat full-fat too, because usually the low-fat products have sugar or artificial additives added, which I think are worse. I stopped drinking alcohol a year or so ago because it didn't agree with me and seemed to make my inflammation worse, and have cut sugar and bread almost completely out of my diet for the last 5+ months too, for the same reason. Like you, postle, my sleep has improved hugely since I started treatment in November - it has been one of the best effects, and it was unexpected. :)
