Help my urticaria please.

I have this horrible undiagnosed itchy skin problem and need help. It mainly affects contact areas with my bra and panty line which I put down to allergy's with elastine, seem lines etc - I ordered special underwear from the states which seemed to help but then it returned with avengence... I have tried EVERYTHING from topical steroids, antfungals, white vinegar, doublebass, itchy-cure creams but whatever I'd use only works for a few hours and then this horrific itch returns I am dreading the hot weather because this puritic weel type rash returns (especially under both breasts). I am a medium sized 50 year old female and this pricking dreadful ongoing problem is making my life hell, even writing this I could actually draw blood from this debilitating itch. ANY HELP would be much appreciated.

Are you sure it's urticaria and not flexural/inverse psoriasis?

I have it too, I think. It can be unbelievably painful. I have tried all sorts of things. The only things that seem to help are -

- Sudocreme. If you have kids, it'll make sense if I say treat it like nappy rash! Except it doesn't seem to work well around my groin/vulva, which is more sensitive. I find it's great under breasts, in my belly button and natal cleft.

- Tea tree oil. You buy this from chemists/Wilkos. Soak a pad of cotton wool and add a drop or two of TTO. Rub on the sore bit. If the skin is broken it really stings, but I still use it in my groin, diluting it a bit more, because it's the only thing I've found that works. It goes within 48 hours, ime.

Avoiding all your known triggers is obv a good idea too - tight clothes, stress, whatever your normal psoriasis triggers are... It's interesting you mention elastase, because I was diagnosed with a latex allergy in the past, but now I think it was probably the flexural psoriasis...

Another thought - if you have any aches or pains in your joints or tendons, talk to your GP or dermatologist about seeing a rheumatologist, because you have a higher risk of developing psoriatic arthritis...

Sounds like inverse psoriasis.

Hey I'm 13 and I have had severe skin conditions science I was 4. I had something like that once. Try dressing in ONLY cotton for 1-2 weeks as you may be allergic to the material of your underwear. Good luck 😊 x
