Hey I’m new. My doctor recommended me here. I’ve started my weight loss journey and plan to stick to it this time. No excuses!!!!!

My weight is the only unstable thing in my life 😪 I just keep on making bad decision when it comes to it. I’m eating only three meals a day (all salades and vegetables) with out snacks. I’ve started working out but finding that also hard. My stomach is my main goal as that’s were I accumulate most fat but I’m finding it very difficult to work out on that part of my body as I find I cannot carry my own weight 😭. Not only is is embarrassing when working out with others but it discouraging. But Im going to stick to it and not give up. I plan to work out everyday For 40day straight then I can work our a plan going forward.

I hope you’re all doing well 😊

Do not feel embarrassed at all! You on working on making a healthier life for yourself and you should be PROUD! I am proud of you keep it up and when you mess up a day or two or three pick back up at it. Be kind to yourself.

Hi there and welcome! It seems like you're off to an amazing start with your journey. Getting the will power to start is half the battle so congrats! Are you consuming a lot of protein and fiber? Both of these help keep you feeling fuller for a longer period of time so try to incorporate both at every meal. In terms of working out, start small! I would suggest a form of cardio/HIIT exercises (there are some many free resources online!) to help you shed the weight and start with something low impact and work up from there. It's always better to start small and build up. It's also good to give your body time to recover especially if you are new to working out. So something like one day HIIT workout and the following day stretch and go for a walk and then repeat the cycle until you need more. You can usually tell when your body is craving something more intense. To set yourself up for success, just start with baby steps to build up the momentum and confidence. Most people try to do too much too fast and end up getting discouraged/burnt out and then stop. So you start small, listen to your body, and build gradually, then you'll have a better shot at achieving your goal. Think of it as more of a marathon, than a sprint! Oh and remember that the fact that you are taking charge of your life in this way should empower you! Making that shift in your mindset is no easy feat. You are making the choice to be healthier and that is a beautiful thing. Please celebrate that! Good luck!

I would recommend you learn to consume a healthy, well rounded with proper portion control. Eliminating foods completely may work short term, but in the end long term success is hard to attain. Long term success should be a good goal. You are on the right track, though. For me night time eating is my enemy. I sabotage all the progress I made during the day. I still have not figured out why I do this, but I have to talk myself out of eating late at night. I started with walking only. If you do too much too fast you may just give up, or injure yourself.

Weight loss is one of my struggles. Over the past few years eating low carb and exercise worked for me. My exercise routine started with just fast paced walking for 45 minutes at my local park. Once winter set in I started doing Beachbody on Demand videos but I really didn’t stick to it. (BBOD also offers an eating plan but I didn’t care for it.) About 8 months ago I learned about obéfitness.com which is a video platform of Live and on demand classes. It’s the best thing I’ve found for exercise and I stick to it bcz I Love it. If you use one of the trainers names followed by 100 (Example Kat100, Liz100) you can get a month free trial. Bcz of obé I have not gained the Covid15, I’ve actually gained muscle and lost 5lbs.

I’ve also recently downloaded the itrackbites app which is similar to WW but free, just to teach myself how to incorporate carb foods.

I know I said I follow low carb, but I allow myself one sweet snack before bed, unless I wasn’t “good” during the day.

Find a form a movement for your body that you love.

Hi the most important thing on this weight loss journey is to be consistent. It's way more imporntant than doing lots in the gym. With that in mind start gentle with your training and build when you feel stronger because if you are consistent you surely will and will know you can do more. more power to you
