does anybody suffer with struggling to wee? and what helps to wee more?

Hi Issa,

I have issues with urinary retention. I've worn catheters for up to a month at a time and finally ended up on medication. My Urologist thinks it may be Behcet's related and he gave me a men's prostate medicine called Flomax. I am not sure exactly how Flomax works but it does help me urinate. In fact, I don't even know whether or not I can wee without it! Flomax is the name in the US (where I live) and I am not 100% sure if the name is the same in the UK.

Hi, drinking lots (even though you might not want to), applying pressure on the bladder with your fist, having a hot water on your bladder or taking a hot bath then trying to wee can help
