Has anyone here with Behcet’s also been diagnosed with cancer? Unfortunately I am in this situation. My Behcet’s was in remission before the cancer diagnosis, but chemo is reactivating my old symptoms and making them worse. It’s not clear if treating the Behcet’s would make the chemo less effective. Any thought would be very helpful.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. I don't have any direct experience. I manage my Bechets by keeping sugar and starch relatively low and increasing green veg. I've read that cancer cells thrive on sugar. I'm sure I've read that a keto diet for short time can help, but others would probably disagree and this may be hard to follow if your unwell.
If I was in your position this is where I would look and what I would consider.
Sorry if this isn't much help. It may just be the stress of being ill that has kicked off your symptoms.
I hope someone else is able to offer you some insight.
Thanks for replying. I studied my BD triggers for many years (diagnosed in 2012). I do have food sensitivities (gluten, nightshades, coffee, tea, fresh ginger, etc.) but I also have other more powerful triggers - infections, vaccines, medications and certain supplements. All of us have what’s called an “exposome” - a combination of different triggers of autoimmunity: mymee.com/the-mymee-method
Chemo falls into this category. I’m getting dexamethasone and anti-histamines pre-chemo to avoid allergic reactions and they do help, but when their effect wears off the BD symptoms show up.
