Okay sorry for the dumb question, I just got diagnosed and got so much info and prescriptions and questions thrown at me I forgot this one thing. Does this cream go inside my mouth, on my genitals, or on my skin hahaha oh boy!🥴

Hi, it is a bit overwhelming to start with however in the end you will be a pro. I’ve copied the info below off the web. For now I wouldn’t use it on the genital area until you speak to the doctor again.

I find with all that’s happening and also the brain fog etc I have a section in my iPhone with questions I want to ask the doctor (otherwise the door closes and I remember half a dozen things I want to ask). Don’t be frightened to ask them to write things down for you, especially when to take certain medications etc. I’ve never done this but you could have a pen and paper at the ready to scribble down some notes. You only have so long for the consultation so don’t go overboard but it’s important to remember what the doctor says later.

Back to the Fluocinonide:

Do not let fluocinonide topical get into your eyes or mouth and do not swallow it. Avoid use on the face, in the genital and rectal areas, and in skin creases and armpits unless directed by your doctor. Do not wrap or bandage the treated area unless your doctor tells you that you should.

I'll try to be more proactive in asking the things I want to know more about and remember to write down things the docs say. I guess I just found the process of getting diagnosed such a battle of trying to let get the doctors to see what was happening I forgot that a diagnosis is even possible😆 thank you you're just amazing!
