Hydroxychloroquine side effects???

I’m starting my 3rd month of the Hydroxychloroquine and I’ve been having Terrible acid reflux..it can be all day long and came on during my 2nd month of this medication.

I take it with my dinner on a full stomach. I’ve looked up side effects and don’t see that as one..

Any of you have this issue?

What brand of Hydroxychloroquine are you taking? I had side effects, including acid reflux, with Quinoric, Black Rock and Teva. Quinoric was the worst. The only brand I can take without problems is Zentiva. May be worth asking your GP or pharmacist for a different brand to see if that helps.

Interesting.. I’ve never looked at that I’ll ask at the pharmacy today when I pick it up.

I have been sensitive to fillers in other medications. It’s weird though that it was into my 2nd month. My pharmacist knows I am sensitive so this will be an easy fix.
