Hi all hope your day is not too bad today. If it is sending🤗 to you.

I have noticed that before a bad flare that I am constantly urinating, maybe a day or so before flare happens. Just out of curiosity does this happen to anyone else? Maybe it’s just me!!

I have weeks where don’t go much then all of a sudden week or so when constant. I will keep eye on this to see if corresponds. Someone mentioned dark urine even though well hydrated I get this too and sometimes urine clear as water.

I have no diagnosis but am wondering if have bechets as a possibility due to symptoms and this is not off the cuff but serious concern.

Very interested and it’s all these things you share that are helpful

I agree Benne09 :-/ pain and inflammation is a huge issue for me too, a GP I saw a few years ago said that my body was producing too much adrenaline when I was in pain which increased the urine flow.

In addition to this I have been trying to reduce my coffee intake, for years and years I only used to drink the occasional filter coffee and for some reason started drinking instant coffee which I feel has really made things soooo much worse, I was having to go to the loo within 30 minutes of having each cup, now having reduced to a couple of cups a day I have noticed a difference and more so when I have none :-)

Yes. I can tell when a flare is coming on or in action.

Can’t go anywhere without knowing where the closest restroom is. And it needs to be close!

We thought it was just me.

Thanks for bring this up.

Have a great day all.

Wishing all a good day today 🤗

My IC gets really sever before a flare. My urine also darkens like I’m dehydrated even though I shouldn’t be because I drinking adequate fluids. I feel less crazy now, this board really helps.

I get retention and am up 5-8 times in the night and struggle to push anything out it’s just a dribble. I feel like I can’t empty my bladder. This usually corresponds directly with a neurological flare.
