Uvula

Any one else get hardcore ulcers on their Uvula. Got grade 2 Esophagitis too.

Had a Fundoplication surgery on my stomach which has helped reduce the reflux greatly. Constant abdomen swelling occurs though, cause the problems are still there.

Hi, Yes, I've had ulcers on my uvula and it's awful. I had quite a few over the years and now my uvula has a lot of scarring and doesn't look like a uvula anymore. Short course of steroids used to help clear it up. I'm now on long term medication though so I hope I won't get it again.

Looking at your picture I wonder if you need to try improving your dental hygiene e.g. regular flossing and a visit to the hygeinist. Bacteria in the mouth is linked to oesophagus and gum problems. Also look at your diet. I have stopped eating dairy wheat and tomatoes and this has helped my mouth ulcers enormously plus good brushing and flossing.
