Hi I recently went to a physical therapist. I've always stayed away from chiro etc as since my twenties my back seizes up and I had limited range. When uveitis and ulcers hit I got behcets diagnosis. So now the therapist did some extreme moves on my hips. Over the coming days I felt my back straighten from a fixed position and relief in my head like 20 yrs of pressies gone. I was so relieved. But then my legs started bye in and the bones at the sides weren't stable. I felt fibres tear from the left side of spine and neck. I feel complelty untethered on one side. I'm thinking i might have had ankylosis spondylitis all along. Went to a and e in hysterics over the bone bowing and he told me we only deal with emergencies go to your rheum. He said it's not poss to move hops. My go since and rheum are all saying u can't move hips yet I can practical my side touch my head to one shoulder. My old fixed scoliosis changes sides and I've shivers nauea etc. As they don't think one can move hips they are ignoring my plight they were not in the room with that physical therapist. I think my tendons were fixed amd ankylosing. Now they have released from the hip yanking. I am afraid and alone I don't know what to do. Any ideas. The docs all keep saying you would need to be in a plane or car crash to have this problem. A and e guy didn't even take off my tracksuit. So worried

Hi, could you be having a flare up ? When I flare I get shivery, nausea and agonising pain in my hips and lower back that even tramadol and gabapentin barely touch. Intense Physio even yoga can cause / exacerbate a flare. Even though my pain is horrific it goes after a week to ten days and leaves no lasting damage.

Ring you rheumatology team and get an appointment with them, they will run the tests you need and hopefully put your mind at rest. Good luck
