I have had numbness on and off in lower half for few years but since my last flare it seems to be more and everywhere. There's sensation but it's dulled if you know what I mean. What should I do? Told my rheum I couldn't feel my feet. He just said I can't help you with that? Is there anything I could should do? Any test I should get? V worried

Numbness
Hi I do the know if this will help you but I too have this especially in my lower half but mine is caused by degenerative spondylitis and nerve damage. Supposedly nothing to do with BD yet if you look at many recent posts lots of others are suffering with aches and pains in these regions and nerve problems.

Hi, I would speak to your GP about the feet problem. It is a common problem that occurs with diabetics and he may be able to give you something to help it like Gaberpentin or Pregablin ? He will certainly be able to give you some invaluable advice about looking after your feet and making sure you check them regularly for sores or cuts that you may not feel initially. I think it would be well worth a visit !
Good luck,

I have that in my right toes and parts of my left foot. I thought it was a side effect of the colchicine. theyre numb and how you said it- a lessened sensation. I notice a lot more in the shower.
