Hi there...I must say how impressed I am that you have come to this forum to learn about your girlfriends condition. If only others were as keen and interested as you, it would help a lot of us here that don't always get the understanding and support we need.

I have an excellent husband who looks after me and attends appointments with me and sometimes he needs support as well.

Feel free to ask us anything you want to know...I am sure you will get lots of answers that will help both you and your girlfriend. We are quite a tight knit bunch here as we all know what it is like to have such a rare condition.

There is also a search bar which is above on the right hand side where you can type a word and this will give you all the past discussions that we have already had.

If you haven't already found the Behcets Society website I have attached the link to the medical factsheets for you and you girlfriend to look at

behcets.org.uk/information-...

Both of you can join the Behcets Society if you wish and they have lots of information on their website and a very helpful helpline and email help as well.

looking forward to hearing from you :)

Thanks for your help and info.

Hi, Not good to hear of another person being diagnosed with BD.

Your girlfriend is really lucky to have so much support from you.

Best wishes to you both.

Hello,

Excellent advice from Andrea there and I would just like to wade in and add that I am very impressed too.

Well done for finding us and for being so supportive to your girlfriend.

We have a few members who are not BD sufferers themselves and it's always good to hear things from their perspective to help US as well as asking us questions which we can hopefully help you with.
