Just been to see my rheumy, she is off on mat leave so got a new one. Total waste of time. Also I was told I had missed my app which I hadn't they mixed up. I need to know if I have Dercums as I am covered in fatty lumps which are painful. Also other concerns but not interested. Feel sad.

Hi, Sorry to hear you had a rubbish time at your Rheumy appt.

It is just so frustrating! I have had the same thing happen to me a few times so totally know how you feel right now.

Sending big hugs. Clare x x

Hi jazzy

I too have literally hundreds and hundreds of lumps under the skin and just about everywhere. I had it briefly investigated with no answers except being described as fatty lumps. I too wondered about dercums but it is so difficult to find a consultant who has experience in this.

Mine go through flares of being painful and also restrict my movement and breathing....does this sound similar to yours ?
