How soon after having unprotected sex should you get tested to then know you are ok?

Dear Templar,

If you have symptoms then best to go straight away.

If you don't have symptoms, then two weeks after sex is reliable for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing and at least six weeks for the HIV and syphilis.

Kind regards

I say at least 3 months for HIV and Syphilis.

There are new tests in some of the clinics not all where HIV can be detected in 4 weeks after unprotected sex.
