If you have been tested for chlamydia and it has come back positive on the vaginal swab and have been given medication. Is the medication the same as what they use for the throat aswell...or do you have to be re swabbed for that and is different medication used ?

The treatment for vaginal chlamydia, doxycycline, is the same as used for other locations such as throat and anus. In sexual health clinics , throats are not usually swabbed for chlamydia unless a particular reason.
