Break through bleeding

Hi

I’m 42 and been on the combined pill a year after having my first baby. I’m forever forgetting to take it and last week I took it on Thursday missed Friday and Saturday morning and only took the Saturday pill late on the Saturday nite - Tuesday I started light bleeding 7 days on this is still continuing. My Dr said it will be with the sudden drop in hormone for missing one but I feel so worried that it’s went on too long!! It’s not like a normal bleed more just pink discharge

BTB can happen if you miss pills. At least you remembered the one on Saturday and therefore are still covered for contraception. Have you thought about other types of contraception, if you are "constantly forgetting " them ?
