So I got off my period on March 27th and had sex on April 5th with this guy from school. I'm 16 and this was my second time having sex. The first time I began feeling sick and had preganancy " symptoms " but I took a plan b and figured it was just nerves but it was unprotected. This time I made SURE we were safe and used a condom the whole time . It's April 9th now and I'm terrified, I feel as if I've been peeing more, I had a headache, and terrible Gas lately as well as some backache and I feel worn out all the time. I'm scared I know pregnancy symptoms can't be told this early but I CANNOT be pregnant my mom will actually kill me and I don't even know how I would get a test without telling her . help .

Am I Pregnant .
Dear Laaby,
Three things I need to ask:
1. When was the FIRST day of your last period?
2. And can you tell us when you last had sex?
3. How soon after sex did you start to notice these symptoms of peeing more frequently, backache, etc?
First the good news
There may be a simple explanation to your symptoms that is unrelated to pregnancy- you could simply have a urinary tract infection (UTI) after sex. Does your urine smell strong? For now, if it could be a UTI just drink plenty of fluids. Avoid coffee, tea, fizzy drinks and alcohol. Pop down to the chemist and get a couple of sachets of sodium citrate (if not sure, ask staff for cystitis relief medication), read the instructions and drink the powder mixed with water or cranberry juice (another good UTI remedy).
The not so good news...
You don't need to tell your mum about taking a pregnancy test. They are available to buy from any chemist (Boots, Superdrug, supermarket chemist etc and even online). They cost about GBP7-9.
But before jumping in to do the test can I suggest you wait for your next period? If it is late or delayed by a week or so, then do the pregnancy test.
Future plans
If the test is negative GREAT. You should try to get some contraceptive advice from your local family planning/sexual health clinic (Google or ask your school friends) and also a full sexual health screen. Condoms for now and encourage your BF to get tested as well.

Adhari.
The mention of Plan B suggests the o/p is not in UK. All those helpful - and relatively cheap - suggestions will not be available
