Hi, IV woken up with bad thrush do I need to have a prescription of my Dr for canastan duo are can my partner buy it in my local chimest?

You don't need a prescription in the UK for over the counter candida treatment. Are you sure its candida ?

Canesten Thrush Duo Oral Capsule & External Cream that's the name of it.

Either the pessary ( pill for the vagina ) or the oral tablet are both equally effective for candida , +/- the external cream depending on your symptoms.

Clotrimazole 1%cream is much cheaper than the brand name canesten if that's all that you need.
