hi I have been on pill for a year now and due to the recent epidemic I have 2 months worth of pills left. I don't know if I will be able to receive anymore and I'm not sure if I should just come off it all together?

How to come off the Pill effectively
Dear Yolo,
I don't think you should be unduly worried. You still have two months of meds and I'm sure you can get more when the time comes for a renewal of the prescription.
I guess more to the point is why you think you want to stop now? If you're not currently sexually active and don't anticipate having sex anytime soon (lockdown), then that's another matter. Provided you haven't had sex for at least the last seven days, you should be safe from unplanned pregnancy if you stop now.
Here's what to expect when you come off the pill:

Do remember that many women take the pill not just for contraception and if your doctor/nurse felt that you'd benefit from taking the pill because of acne, painful periods, PCOS or other reasons, you may wish to consult them before making your decision.
Best wishes,
Adhari.
Hi, I'm sure if necessary you can have a phone consultation with your nurse practitioner or GP and they would do you a prescription. Even if they normally check blood pressure and weight they could still give you the script and ask you to go back for a health check later.
