I’ve had this problem for many years not but have never been to get it checked. My pelvis clicks and feels uncomfortable when doing movements such as leg raises. I’m a very active person and find when I’ve had a week where I’ve done a lot of intense cardio exercise it hurts even more to the point where it hurts to walk or exercise at all. Then after resting off it it goes back to the normal clicking that I’m use to. It’s not regularly that It gets to that very painful point but it does happen every now and then. Can anyone suggest what it could be or wether it’s worth going to my gp and getting referred for a scan?
Thanks all.

I would say yes. If you have a chronic discomfort that is worse when you exercise , its worth an x ray or possibly a scan. The question would be what could be done about it , if anything . It would be worth assessing the area to make sure that if there is any bony abnormality that it wont cause any long term issues.
I would ask to be referred for a scan. I have impingement syndrome in my hips, causing clicking and pain. It is caused by extra bony growth in my hip along the pelvis and femur and had damaged the cartilage in my hip, causing more pain. I only knew I had it due to a constant dull ache in my hip and pain if I did loads of walking. I was sent for an x ray first, which chowed abnormalities and then i had to have an MRI and CT scan for more detailed pictures.
