Swollen lymph in groin, herpes

Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if anyone else gets swollen lymph nodes in their groin area before an outbreak? It’s only 1 swollen node and it’s tender to touch, this happened to me a few months ago and it went down on its own but it’s come back up again and I’m terrible for looking on the internet and end up scaring myself 🙄 just want to know if anyone else has similar signs! Thank you! X

I only got swollen glands once after my original outbreak. It just indicates where the starting point of the virus is your body is fighting.

Yes I have had that in the past and it’s always related to an outbreak. Usually on my right side

My leg has been aching for a few days now and I don’t notice the swollen lymph as much but it’s all on my right side I’ve been taking acyclovir to prevent an outbreak 🙈

Did you try and come off suppressive therapy? How did you react to that? I tried it and was getting an OB every 6-8 weeks. Thinking to ask to go back on it and it’s rather annoying

Yes I’m off it now and I get an outbreak usually once a month I know the tablets are safe just I don’t like that fact I have to take them everyday

Yes mine is probably more like 4-6 weeks actually. I had a few tablets left over so just take them as and when an OB comes on. Was hoping that my body would become immune to it but still keep getting OB!
